My first trip to town with the 4 children by myself, we went to the Cooper gallery for a art treasure hunt, followed by fun in the Mandela gardens and then a trip to the library.
The girls really enjoyed the opening ceremony for the Centenary celebrations of Brownies begining. They tried all sorts of activities such as cheer leading. The girls love brownies and have been awarded many badges including computer, writing, cook, hostess.
We enjoyed Autumn walks, fungi spotting and identifying, one time we had a mushroom on our kitchen worktop, Geoff wasn't sure whether it was edible or deadly poisonous!!! We all got really obsessive looking for fungi, we grow mould on bread, played fungi top trumps. The warm weather also saw a second batch of late ladybirds and larvae, which the girls collected and observed and measured, they escaped from their pot and are found in odd places!!!
