Reuben helped pod the broad beans, he enjoyed getting the beans out of their beds. Then he found a baby one, then a dead one, and then Imogen joined in and there was a whole family of beans. At tea time I couldn't compost them, so I left them on the side, and eventually they disappeared. Living happily everafter!
