Our monthly session at Shirebrook was pretty amazing. The morning consisted of bird watching and various experiments linked to birds adapting to their environment. In the afternoon, we all went into the woods, with saws, ropes and tarpaulin to make a Forest playground.
Everyone was so busy, there was such a nice atmosphere.
Imogen and a friend, made a rope climbing frame.
She then went off to explore the playground.
'Chocolate moosse for greedy goose' -The two littlies tucking into choc pud.
Reuben made a gun! Which is not like Reuben
Mima and her friend made a rope ladder, they had to cut the sticks to the right length.
Constructing the ladder
Reuben testing to see if it is safe!!
Time to play.
Imogen 2nd project, to make a double swing seat.
A swing for two... or maybe more!
Lots of amazing play equipment was made.
And the children, loved sharing and exploring the playground.
At the end it was all taken down, and left as it was found.
Perfect end to a perfect day, splashing in puddles!
