Yummy Christmas food

Gingerbread biscuits

coconut mice
snowy mince pies.
And the girls also made a fantastic raspberry ripple cheesecake, I think they've been watching far too much come dine with me!

Santa's Workshop

Our Santa's workshop, a place to make, sort and wrap presents.

Home ed Christmas concert

Imogen and Jemima attend a home education singing group, and Imogen goes to the recorder group too. Together with another home ed singing group, there was a christmas concert. Imogen played a recorder solo, and Jemima sang a few lines solo in a song.

Christmas party

Off to a Christmas party.

Some Christmas crafts before the fun and games started.
With a little help from Daddy the girls both won the rubik's cube competiton!!!!!
Wrapping up Uncle Richard as a snowman, and we won that too!

The finished snowman.
Rosanna joining in musical bumps.

Victorian Christmas

Decorating biscuits
Tasting real mince pies, made Victorian style with mince meat.

Playing with Victorian toys on the comfy rag rug.
Making Victorian Christmas cards.
Meanwhile outside, a fire had been started in the bushes...
Santa to the rescue!
And Santa taking note of the naughty boys and girls who started the fire, I'm sure their stockings will have been empty this Christmas.
Bring on Fireman Sam.
One of the elfs checking the progress of the fire.

Christmas fairs

We started at the Victorian Christmas fair at St Thomas.

Followed by a walk along the TPT.

And finally Wigfield farm Christmas fair, with atrip on Santa's sleigh ride.

Poem about Nanan

We wrote this poem together for Nanan's birthday...

You make my day,
Parish church, cups of tea,
Newspaper and bargains,
Knocking on the window,
Bulging bag of goodies,
Cup of tea,
vitamin tablets and vests,
countdown at ten past four,
very very kind,
Hash, auntie bessies and relish,
"mark my words" it'll snow next week)

First of December

Imogen in the den.

Reuben 'can I get warm by the radiator in the summer house!'
Frosty the snowman
View from girls bedroom.

Jemima dressed in 60's gear

We thought we'd had lots of snow at the start of the week and then on the first of December, it really did snow, and snow and snow...
