Gosh we are not used to early starts, but this morning at 8.30am we started the first of our renovations. There is much work to be done on the attic before it can be used as a bedroom. The velux window went in today, then we need to remove/move the tanks, insulate the walls and then maybe add an en-suite toilet.

A history day was held in the Civic building in Barnsley. A great day to see private collections of historic artefacts and find out about the historic buildings in Barnsley.

Information about the company that made the lamps. They are based in Barnsley and the company still exists, although they don't make as many lamps as in the past. The old Ceag factory is a lovely 1930's building. Which may be demolished!!!
