A few weeks ago, we had a day out to Bradford.
We usually go to Bradford to go in the Media museum,
so I've never explored the city before.
We explored the area know as 'Little Germany',
which was the centre of textile warehousing
in the late 19th century in Bradford.
Rosanna was really surprised when she sat down,
I think she was expecting a comfy seat, not a cold stone sculpture!
We then took the children for their first proper curry.
Geoff and I ordered mild curry,
but Immy went for a medium, notice the pink cheeks!
Warmed up by the curry, we headed into the lights of Bradford.
A real life 'In the night garden'
Great photos, especially the light sculptures. I've never heard of Bradford, but if it has a media museum, that's someplace I would love to visit someday!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photography of Bradford and your lovely family ~ (A Creative Harbor) ^_^
ReplyDeletegreat shots
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outing that must have been! You know, I once lived in Bradford, but the one that is in Canada. It's much, much smaller than the one you visited!
ReplyDeleteLove the night sculptures -- what a great adventure for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice tour you've given us! :)
ReplyDeletelove the big chair photos:)
ReplyDeleteThose light sculptures are quite beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe chair pictures are adorable! Those would be soooo sweet framed!
And, oh, how I wish I could eat curry. There's something in there I'm allergic to. I've tried valiantly over the years but it still just doesn't like me!
Thanks for sharing photos of yours, though!
A+
