After the non-stop rain and grey skies, we were relived to get sunny weather on our holiday to Norfolk. We normally don't stray far from the beach house, but this holiday we went exploring and ventured around the coast and visited Wells-next-the-sea.
When we had just two children we'd often go off on days out around the coast
As we headed along the path, I'd forgotten how beautiful Wells is, it felt almost tropical, with the 'islands' in the distance and the sun shining.
Turning the final corner to the beach, I was totally gob smacked by it's beauty!
And the distant sand dunes were a must for us all...
Fine golden sands and blue skies, yes we are in the UK!
I don't think I could ever tire off the big Norfolk skies
And Reuben was thrilled to find this pirate ship in the playground.
looks gorgeous! I would go there just take photos of the sand dunes.
ReplyDeletehave a sweet day.
We love the beach so much that we are selling our house here in Tucson and moving to coastal Georgia! Great photos!!
ReplyDeleteWells Next the Sea is a great place for a holiday. When I was little, we used to catch crabs off the harbour wall. When we took our own children back there, they did the same :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an amazing place.

Goddess Of Fantasy
I've been to Wells one time! And it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteThe drama of the green and the stones and that blue, blue, blue sky!
Absolutely glorious!
And so is your family!
