Imogen suggested we go to Frankie & Benny's on Christmas eve. Afterwards we went home to watch Merry Madagascar and drink mulled wine.

Making Frost

Using a tin can, salt, wet paper and snow, frost was produced. We then discussed the process of latent heat transfer - a bit deep!! But the girls have applied this theory to other processes they have seen.

Christmas cards

The children made christmas cards and Imogen made Santa guinea pig pictures on the computer.

Making Christmas decorations

Loads of decorations were made, snowflakes, hanging lanterns, 3D snowflakes, trees made from concentric circles. The coconut mice that were supposed to harden under the tree were eaten before they got there!
